What I found at CHART wasn't just inspiration, it was transformation. No egos, no gatekeeping—just people ready to share, support, and show you how to solve your toughest challenges.

Bottom line: The more you put into CHART, the more it gives back. The return is truly priceless. I've gained skills, friendships, confidence, and clarity about what I love most in this field.

The conference overall was so incredibly well run. So much thought was put into everything!
My favorite part of the conference was completing a competency and getting great ideas from my new connections. I'm even going to use a book recommendation from one of my tablemates to create a new manager training on email etiquette and brevity.
I most valued the networking and how open everyone was in sharing their successes and strategies.
Being a First Time Attendee, I felt welcomed and pulled in from the beginning. I enjoyed the constant networking and interaction during the events.
I came to CHART with a goal to gain knowledge and advance my work skill set, but I left with so much more - the connections, the memories, the motivation to challenge myself to create a learning environment that advances all participants!
The sessions were packed with value. I left feeling motivated and ready to lead with more authenticity and confidence.
I would not be in the position I am without the offering of opportunities CHART provides.
I have been re-energized by having my ideas and processes challenged and validated, preparing me to lead with people first. A key takeaway was the need to create a De-escalation Program for our store teams to better prepare them in managing the day-to-day stresses that are out of their control.
I've learned so much, starting with the doing self-evaluations, and also be open minded for feedback from your participants.
Being with hundreds of the most talented hospitality trainers in the industry, in any other setting, would give me imposter syndrome. But with CHART, it's exactly the opposite. I feel more confident being with my people.
My every day is filled with skills I learned from a CHART Competency. But my go to is: "There are only 3 reasons something isn't done - don't know, can't do, don't care."
I learned a lot about how to organize, vet, and track learning progress. I made great connections for my network.
I frequently use the fundamentals I learned in the Coaching & Feedback module. Specifically, tools like the 9-box and Peak Performance Coaching models.
I am now more aware of the importance of getting to know your people so you can provide more impactful development support. Great learning environment and networking experience.
The conference was really energetic and fun! I am taking home some improved presentation skills.
The large number of first-time attendees and the solid content in the sessions were my favorite things about the conference. It also sparked in me the need to create a new self-image of my role in the structure of my company.
The industry-specific relevance of topics and information was my favorite thing. Love the open forum for sharing best practices, where I learned new ways to use our LMS.
The most valuable thing I have gained from CHART is the connections and support of others who are more than willing to share their experiences and skills.
I am implementing the Training Evaluation strategies I learned immediately in a menu roll out. I'm also going to build out a whole chapter on Coaching and Development in our MIT program using tactics from my breakout and the book 'Coach' from our speaker.
CHART allows me to continue my growth in my career and energizes me to go to work as my best trainer self! the people, friends, and peers I have met have forever changed my life...for the better!
CHART has taught me to continuously look for way to introduce creativity into training and engage learners in new ways.
By far the most valuable thing I've gathered from my decades (yes, decades) participating in this small but powerful hospitality training organization is that...if you can't do it alone, you can do it with CHART.
When I need feedback or tips on a program that I'm workng on I always know that I can rely on my CHART partners.
One skill I learned through CHART and use regularly is being able to partner with people at all levels and from all backgrounds.
With the support of my peers, I am more confident speaking publicly at conferences and national trade shows.
